I had a wonderful semi-private plein air workshop at Yaddo yesterday with two of my very talented students, Cindy, and Gail. The day was beautiful, and perfect for painting outdoors.
Here is my easel set up and ready for paint.

Here’s where Cindy ended at the end of the workshop. I think she did an excellent job handling her values, and color temperature shifts.
All in all, not a bad way to spend a gorgeous summer day! Many thanks to Cindy and Gail for the opportunity!
