The view of Lake George from the Shelving Rock overlook. @nature.ny was instrumental in preserving this site before @nysdec acquired it in 1974, and it’s now a part of the Lake George Wild Forest. We visit this area often, especially in the summer. It’s great for hiking, swimming, fishing – especially with kids, and a great opportunity to teach our kids to respect nature and #leavenotrace.
