This is another painting I started last week during the SAF Paint Out, but had to finish at home because of the rain. It’s a study of one of the many little ducks that live by the pond in Congress Park. This one in particular showed more interest in what I was doing than the others. So I snapped a couple pictures of him for this piece. He’s the second duck I’ve ever painted. The first was in the other SAF painting – Winding Stream. Did you spot him?
Blog Anniversary!
June 19th is my blog’s 4 year anniversary! In celebration, I’m doing a drawing for a free painting. All you have to do to qualify is to leave a comment on any painting on my blog that strikes you to do so between today and Saturday, 6/19 (praise or nays!
