Here are a couple recent commissions recently completed. Could they be any different??
The first is of a scene in Germany near the site of a former concentration camp. It’s a gift for the clients mother. I am really pleased that the painting captured the stillness and peacefulness of the forest in winter. The client is happy too. I hope her mom likes it as well.
The second painting is of a brilliant sunset over Lock 8 on the Mohawk River. The client who commissioned this did so as a milestone birthday present for herself. She lives near the Lock, and has enjoyed many beautiful sunsets there. She especially loves the salmon/pinkish colors that the sky takes on at sunset, especially in the Fall.
I’m really happy with both of these. I have a couple studies that I will post at a later time.
