This week’s painting was inspired by a recent trip to Jones Beach, NY. I had forgotten how much I miss the ocean, and this beach. The water was much more clear and green than I had remembered. Many boats and fishermen were out waiting patiently for their big catch. This fellow seemed captivated by the small waves, every now and then glancing at his poles. He didn’t even notice me snapping away like the paparazzi! I hope his fishing trip was successful.
