I am pleased to announce that I’ll be offering a plein air workshop at the Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve this Fall. Details below:

Painting the Preserve with Takeyce Walter
A plein air (outdoor) painting workshop at the beautiful and historic Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve
Date: Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Cost: $90 per person

Spend the day with artist and instructor Takeyce Walter, painting the beautiful Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve. Lessons will include the tried and true methods of composing and designing the perfect fall landscape in plein air. Takeyce will also discuss and demonstrate techniques to enhance your paintings and offer individual assistance, and reference materials to all students. The price of the workshop includes breakfast (hot beverage, and a baked good) and a boxed lunch (a sandwich, chips, cookie and cold drink) from the Vischer Ferry General Store. We will meet at the VFGS, have breakfast during the lecture portion of the workshop, then travel to paint outdoors at the preserve. A complete supply list will be provided upon registration.
