Here’s another from the imagination, and memory. I’m really enjoying this process – I start out with a very broad idea of what I want to paint (an landscape in this case) but not really having a plan or knowing how the painting will end up. I’m just letting the brush take me where it wants to go. I find this exercise to be very helpful with loosening up. It’s a very cool, pressure-free experience, and to have a nice painting at the end is even more gratifying.
