This week’s painting is an oil study of cloud formations over the countryside close to home. My goal was to try to capture this scene in a pretty loose manner, and it was challenging! I had to keep pulling back every time I started spending too much time on one area or another. I also used a couple different colors (warmer) than my usual palette for the sky. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the results.
