An Empty Nest

The kids and I found this fallen empty nest at the park last summer. I’ve wanted to paint it ever since. This was my first time painting a nest, and it was such a soothing and comforting experience. There is something so precious about a nest. Can an object be secure and delicate at the same time? I think so.
