I have enjoyed this winter, but I am starting to long for warm sunshine, and the sweet smell of new grass.<\/p>\n<p>This pastel was a challenge due to all the variety of greens. It depicts an early spring scene in the Berkshires.\u00a0 I snapped a few photos while on the way to the Clark Museum a few years ago, and I&#8217;ve been wanting to paint it for quite some time.
