Winter Marsh

Winter Marsh
pastel, 3.5″x5″ – matted (white) and framed (black wood)
SOLD to a collector in Ballston Spa, NY
Here’s a little pastel of the frozen marshland in my backyard. We were actually able to ice skate on it this past weekend. How wonderful is that!?
This and a few of my other little paintings will be for sale at Mimosa Gallery’s 2nd Annual “10×10=$100″ Group Show. The opening reception is this Saturday from 5-8 PM. I got a preview of it this afternoon, and I wanted to buy so many paintings!! At prices between $25 – $100, I just might snatch up a couple. You should go!
Happy New Year!
Until next time…

Takeyce,
This is really beautiful. I grew up in Schuylerville and your work reminds me of the area. Glad to see you are back posting again. Can you share a little more info on the 10 x 10 = $100 show. I would like to organize something like that in my area.

Thank you, Dawn. Schuylerville is a beautiful area. The 10 x 10 show is put on by Michelle LaLonde, owner of Mimosa Gallery. All works on sale are no larger than 10 x 10 inches and priced at $100 or less. It’s a group show, so there’s a great variety of media and prices.
